Over spring break I created a floral piece that I am very happy with!
I got my inspiration from Pinterest and found a leaf tutorial that brought the whole piece together. I used the stem stitch, so the stitch would appear twisted and found that each stitch needs to be equally spaced to ensure that it looks professional. In addition to the stem stitch, I used the backstitch to make the flower petals, by continuously going towards the center and to the end of the petal circling the middle. Next week I will post a tutorial on how I so the flower and leaf stitch 🙂
