Hi Megan, I really enjoyed your blog post for Open Pedagogy. I did not have a previous understanding of this concept before reading your post, and you explained it wonderfully. I also really enjoyed the video that you included, it was very educational and gave me a great overview of the concept. I did not know that this concept included OER’s, which are really interesting and beneficial for education. Your definitions of the characteristics are great as a resource, as I can use this in the future in my program. I most related to Innovation and Creativity, where you write how technology should be meaningful, and I completely agree with this. It sounds like you are very knowledgeable in this area of education and I look forward to reading about your Interactive Learning Resource, good luck, and great job!
Hi Wen, your blog post this week was a great read, and I enjoyed reading another perspective as I wrote on this topic as well. Firstly, I love the illustration and video you included in your post. I found them very educational and will use them as a resource in the future. I am very passionate about this learning design and I see that you are very educational in the topic. Your statement “learners become more adept at applying knowledge to what they have learned to other situations” is a very well-written sentence and is a great way to captivate what inquiry-based learning encompasses. I also love your group’s idea for ‘whip cream’ and think this is very creative for your Interactive Learning Resource. Good luck with the final assignment, I enjoyed reading your post this week!
